Undergraduate Scholarship Awards - Transfer Students

• Transfer students admitted to EKU can apply for a four-semester Presidential Scholarship. These awards are based on prior college or university academic credentials including: GPA, hours earned, and curriculum.
• Applicants are required to submit an official transcript from all college or university coursework attempted, two letters of recommendation and the completed application. The application deadline is April 1st. Late applications are accepted, however, priority will be given to those who apply prior to the deadline.
• Award notification letters are mailed each year in the spring semester. All applicants will be notified, once all awards have been made.

If you are recently transferring from a KCTCS school and are a new transfer student to EKU, you may be eligible for the KCTCS scholarship. The minimum requirements for this scholarship are 24 college hours earned and a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 from all previous college coursework. In order for a student to apply for this scholarship, the student only needs to complete their admissions application and provide all college transcripts to the Admissions office for consideration. If the student meets the minimum requirements, the student will automatically be awarded this scholarship and will receive an award letter. The award will cover half in-state tuition for six consecutive semesters upon maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.5. KCTCS scholarship recipients must be enrolled full time at EKU to receive this scholarship. Students may receive a limit of one transfer scholarship.
