Other Scholarship Awards - RetentionWhat Is It? The Retention Scholarship is a fund established to help retain EKU students that have completed their freshman year and have committed to returning to EKU in the fall of the next year. Data has shown that if a student returns and completes their second year of college, their likelihood of graduating is significantly greater. With this in mind and in effort to encourage students to remain in school, a scholarship was established to provide awards to select students that meet the necessary criteria. We, as an Institution, care about the general welfare and needs of our students and want to recognize our student achievers. How Much Is It For? Individual awards will range from $350.00 to $1,000.00 per academic year. Who Can Apply?
